During the time i was in the band i was listening to all sorts of music and Ive always been familiar with hip hop even tho as a youngn' i didn't really like it, But for some reason i started to get influenced by a couple artist who made me wanna get with this shit. Not for nothing but Lupe Fiasco played a big role in influencing me with his wit, wordplay, and not so average subject matter. this made me realize there's a lot more to this ish than it seems. Another artist who i say influenced me a lot has to be MF DOOM cause he raps about shit i actually like like anime, video games, cartoons, and ect... basically things people are afraid to rap about cause they think people would make fun of em. one last person i would say influenced me a lot would have to be Jay-z and its funny cause even in that time where i didn't like hip hop i had the gift and the curse on deck. Other than hip hop I'm still influenced by some bands. I would say my three favorite bands right now would have to be White Chapel, Carnifex, and impending doom even though their starting to go commercial on me, but the heavy shit is where is at. You can directly see the influence from em in the beats i made for the song on the locked in tension page " 3 weeks suspension" and the song off Probable cause "The life i lead" What I'm doing with my music isn't trying to be the next big hood star or the grittiest nigga in the Bx. I'm just being me and putting that on wax. I would never limit myself to any thing, i express what i have in my head freely and without fear of being shunned and in my heart i feel that's what makes a good artist. So kick back and get your popcorn ready cause this movie ain't ending any time soon.
