Hello world! AlejanDRO is now in the building! As an artist I strive to create my own style of music. Some call it hip hop, some call it rap, I refer to it as…well rap I guess haha. I developed my passion for the world of hip hop when I was in 5th grade after hearing Master P Ghetto D, ughhhhhh! But seriously, I am an entrepreneur, born in Memphis, TN, currently residing in Indianapolis, IN. I am busy working on my self-titled debut album “AlejanDRO”. Yes I said album, calling “AlejanDRO” a mixtape would be selling it short. My musical inspiration comes from Lil Wayne, typical right? Wrong! Lil Wayne is a poet. He uses metaphors, symbolism, alliteration, and personification to express his art in a truly rare form, which is also the method to my madness. Don’t let the suit and tie throws you off, I’m not a chump, I’m a professional. Not only am I just an artist, I have a strong influence on the production and engineering of all my music. In the booth my style is unique. All of my songs typically start out with a written 8 bars and usually end up with a freestyle for the next 8 bars. I believe this adds to the impact of my music, when a freestyle comes out right my passion explodes out of the song. I’m not all alone on this quest to conquer the industry, my boy Popz with Popz Productions has been there since day one. You can thank him for all of my beats; he is a genius on the keys!  So please take some time and here us out, I promise you want me disappointed!

Indianapolis, IN (March 2, 2011)

AleJanDRO’s highly anticipated self-titled debut album “AleJanDRO 1” is set to be released late April. The record showcases the extent of AleJanDRO’s musical possibilities, with songs ranging from feel good, sing along radio tunes to aggressive club bangers that get people ready to have a good time.

AleJanDRO is Indianapolis’s hot new rap artist, bursting onto the scene back in November with his hit single “My Swag” Shortly after, he began performing all over Indianapolis, steadily gaining mass crowd appeal. Impressively, in such a short amount of time he has played with artists such as Grammy Award Winner Murphy Lee and local legend Sinclair Wheeler.

His track "Karate Kid", produced by Popz Productions, has risen to the top as his statement song. Sidetrack Records out of Orlando, FL will feature this song on their homepage next month, one of many sites that have recognized the talent behind this artist’s music.
